WYSIWYG chalice frag mounted on a 20mm frag plug. The coral you see is the coral you will receive.
The Green Gold Eye Chalice combines a vivid fluorescent green base with contrasting golden-yellow eyes scattered across the colony. The colour is clean and bold, with subtle darker shading around the mouths adding definition to the otherwise intensely green tissue.
Under blue reef lighting, the green develops a powerful fluorescent glow while the golden eyes provide bright points of contrast. Its relatively compact, encrusting growth makes it an ideal choice for adding a strong splash of colour to the lower sections of the reef.
Recommended Tank Parameters
Temperature: 24–26°C
Salinity: 1.025–1.026 SG
Alkalinity: 7.5–9.0 dKH
Calcium: 400–450 ppm
Magnesium: 1250–1400 ppm
Nitrate: 2–15 ppm
Phosphate: 0.03–0.10 ppm
Lighting: Low to moderate, approximately 50–120 PAR
Flow: Low to moderate, indirect
Placement: Lower areas of the aquarium
Care Level: Easy–Moderate
Temperament: Semi-aggressive
Growth Form: Encrusting / plating
This Chalice will appreciate a stable position with gentle water movement across its surface. If introducing it to a brightly lit system, begin in a lower-light area and allow it time to acclimate before increasing intensity.
Allow some clearance around the colony as it develops. Chalice corals can extend feeding or sweeper tentacles beyond their tissue, particularly during the evening.
