WYSIWYG chalice frag mounted on a 20mm frag plug. The coral you see is the coral you will receive.
The Neon Green Chalice is a seriously bright LPS coral, displaying vivid lime to fluorescent green colouration across almost the entire colony. Subtle yellow highlights add variation through the textured surface, while the darker mouths provide small points of contrast.
Under blue reef lighting, the intense green pigmentation really comes into its own, making this an excellent coral for bringing a strong block of colour to the lower areas of the aquarium. Its encrusting growth habit will gradually increase its coverage as the colony becomes established.
Recommended Tank Parameters
Temperature: 24–26°C
Salinity: 1.025–1.026 SG
Alkalinity: 7.5–9.0 dKH
Calcium: 400–450 ppm
Magnesium: 1250–1400 ppm
Nitrate: 2–15 ppm
Phosphate: 0.03–0.10 ppm
Lighting: Low to moderate, approximately 50–120 PAR
Flow: Low to moderate, indirect
Placement: Lower areas of the aquarium
Care Level: Easy–Moderate
Temperament: Semi-aggressive
Growth Form: Encrusting / plating
This Chalice is best started under lower to moderate lighting, particularly when first introduced. Avoid strong direct flow across the tissue and provide enough clearance for the colony to spread without coming into contact with neighbouring corals.
