John Deere Leptastrea

£25.00

John Deere Letastrea frag. You will receive one of the frags you can see in the image.

The John Deere Leptastrea is a striking encrusting LPS coral known for its intense fluorescent green to yellow polyps contrasting beautifully against a darker base. Under blue reef lighting, the individual corallites glow brightly, creating a highly detailed, almost metallic appearance across the colony.

Its encrusting growth habit makes it an excellent choice for rockwork, where it can gradually spread and form a colourful fluorescent covering. A fantastic coral for adding colour and texture without taking up large amounts of space.

Recommended Tank Parameters

Temperature: 24–26°C

Salinity: 1.025–1.026 SG

Alkalinity: 7.5–9.0 dKH

Calcium: 400–450 ppm

Magnesium: 1250–1400 ppm

Nitrate: 2–15 ppm

Phosphate: 0.03–0.10 ppm

Lighting: Low to moderate, approximately 50–150 PAR

Flow: Low to moderate

Placement: Lower to middle areas of the aquarium

Care Level: Easy–Moderate

Temperament: Semi-aggressive

Growth Form: Encrusting

John Deere Leptastrea can gradually spread across surrounding rockwork, so allow some room for future growth. Although its reach is relatively short, avoid allowing neighbouring corals to grow directly into the colony.
